Larger than they seem – a few words on tractor tyres
Unusual loads and those that require particular attention are bread and butter to us. Some of them, however, though seemingly uncomplicated, can be surprising in their magnitude. We are referring to high-performance tyres and rims for agricultural machines that we regularly carry from the Netherlands to Germany.
Tractor tyres can weigh from 74 up to 200 kg, and their diameter is nearly 150 cm. Because of these considerable dimensions and weight, their transport is far more demanding than that of passenger car tires. Correct placement of the goods during loading is the key here in order to avoid deformation and damage, and to optimise space in the vehicle.
In the case of such orders, efficiency, flexibility and reliability are a priority.
