What is CARGO insurance?

At DONE! in addition to the standard carrier liability policy, we offer you CARGO insurance with 0,07% of contribution rate. CARGO insurance is a service that provides additional insurance for goods during transport. It is aimed at cargo owners who wish to protect their goods against potential damage during delivery and handling.

CARGO insurance extends the scope of liability to the entire value of the transported goods, which is not covered by Carrier's Liability based on CMR Convention.

What does policy guarantee you?

• increased responsibilities - liability of the insurer covering the entire value of the goods, regardless of the limitations of the carrier's liability under the CMR Convention and national regulations,
• coverage for all events that can cause loss or damage to goods during transport.

What is important?

Cargo insurance does not work automatically - you need to let us know if you want to use it so that we can inform the insurer. Necessary information are:

• invoice value of cargo,
• cargo type,
• package type.
